Commemorative coins issued ahead of Year of the Pig

Beijing Caibai Department Store has released a set of commemorative coins of pig ahead of next year's Year of the Pig.

The set has two different designs made of gold, silver and bronze. One design features a paper-cut pig on one side with the other side featuring Chinese character Xi, meaning happens. The other design features Chinese calligrapher of Chinese character of pig.

The coins will be circulated nationwide. Beijing Caibai Department store has released coins of other Chinese zodiac animals including tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster and dog.
