China to host rowing tourney for students and club members

WUHAN -- China will host its first youth rowing tournament over the weekend, featuring competitors from the six provinces in Central and South China.
The tournament will take place on Oct 5-6 in Honglian Lake at Ezhou, Hubei province, with the participation of student athletes and members of rowing clubs in the region.
The competition was sanctioned by the Chinese Rowing Association in order to promote the sport throughout the country.
