Art display uses science and technology in novel way

Principles of math and physics and technologies based on developments in computING and biology are now being used in new media art. And this has provided contemporary artists more possibilities in their work.
Xcelerator, an exhibition now on at Beijing's Times Art Museum, through Oct 14, engages the audience with immersive experiences resulting from the merging of art and technology.
The exhibition, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of Times Art Museum, brings together artists from eight countries including China, Britain and Japan, who explore the boundary between art and science.
Their experimental works show not only novel experiences to the audience, but also invite people to imagine a future in which art and science are blended to impacte every aspect of human existence.
