A program that allows new university arrivals to scan a QR code and pick a "shared" senior to assist with their freshman orientation has been rolled out in a campus in Sichuan province, reports the newssc.org.

Dubbed "Warm-hearted Seniors," the program was initiated by a university association at the Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation in Sichuan's capital, Chengdu.
