It is the extensive application of innovative technology, such as intelligent gate machines, smart delivery lockers and cloud monitoring that has made "empty-handed enrollment" possible.

Among them, cloud monitoring has guaranteed security of the parcel and operation, and automatic warnings can be achieved through technologies such as AI.

In addition, smart delivery lockers have been equipped with facial scan functions, which means students even might not need a phone to pick up the parcels.

Compared with their predecessors, the post-2000s generation is also more tech-savvy.

Self-balancing scooters, portable projectors, aerial photography drones, mini rice cookers and other intelligent electronic products are quite popular among this generation, as they grew up with the internet and electronic products.

According to data from T-mall, an online shopping platform, products that were ordered most by the post-2000 generation during the school season are self-balancing scooters, unmanned aerial vehicles and projectors.
