Man held after 'terror attack' on Houses of Parliament

The Houses of Parliament are surrounded with security barriers of steel and concrete, measures which were extended after the Westminster Bridge attack in March 2017, when Khalid Masood killed four pedestrians with a car before stabbing a police officer to death. The attacker was subsequently shot dead at the scene.
