9 killed, 3 injured in east China road accident

HANGZHOU -- Nine people were killed and three others injured at a road accident on an expressway in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Sunday.
According to local police, the accident occurred at 3:58 a.m., and involved three trucks and two passenger vehicles.
The three injured are in stable conditions.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
