Stills of mega-hit drama 'Story of Yanxi Palace'

Chinese mega-hit costume drama Story of Yanxi Palace has aroused heated discussions on the internet recently since its debut on the livestreaming platform iQiyi.com on July 19. 

The drama mainly tells the story of the woman Wei Yingluo who has come to the Forbidden City as a low-down maid and finally rises to be the reputed Ling Concubine, one of Emperor Qianlong's favorite consorts in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), thanks to her wisdom and courage.
