Mohe, a county in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province at the northern tip of China, includes famous Beiji village, known as China's "Arctic Village".

With a booming tourist industry in recent years, the northernmost gongxiaoshe, or supply and marketing cooperative, attracts lots of tourists visiting the northernmost village.

Built in 1977, the cooperative maintains its original look-antique wooden shelves and counters, papery posts and various commodities-that evokes the memories of the 1980s.

Cong Bingwu and his wife have managed the outlet for 36 years.
"Maybe it looks quite out of fashion in the modern days, but I think it's a wonderful way to remember the old days," said Cong.
