Oversea innovation center promotes international hi-tech cooperation

The Silicon Valley Oversea Innovation Center, which intends to promote international innovative cooperation modules, was launched on July 10 local time in North America.
The center is affiliated to the Xi’an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone of Shaanxi province in China and contains six platforms including an international service supporting center, a hi-tech program incubator and an innovation talents cultivation center.
It aims to increase cooperation between the Silicon Valley and the Hi-tech Zone, particularly in fields of talent exchanges, research, financial linking, international market expansion and technological achievement transformation.
At the launching ceremony, Zhong Hongjiang, Party Committee Secretary of the zone, cited the significant standing of the global hi-tech industrial bases and their advantages in resources, talents and technology.
He expressed his willingness to see a deeper cooperation between the two sides with the establishment of the center and said he hoped the center will help improve the level of the Xi’an Hi-tech Zone’s research and promote the zone to the world.
