State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING - The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on Wednesday.

Yu Wenming was appointed head of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Yu Yanhong was named deputy head of the administration.

Hu Jinglin is no longer deputy minister of finance.

Yang Guozhong is no longer deputy head of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
