As the China-Africa Youth Festival gets under way, African delegates will gain a deeper understanding of China and acquire more insight into Chinese society through interactions with the locals, themed seminars and visits to governmental and academic institutions as well as industrial parks in Beijing.

As Cassamo Azar Nuvunga, a Mozambican entrepreneur said in an interview with China Daily website, "China-Africa cooperation will achieve great progresses. I believe in China. And I trust China. That's why I am here."

We believe with high-quality people-to-people exchanges, the China-Africa Youth Festival will plant seeds for greater China-Africa cooperation. Mutual understanding is key to the welfare of both the Chinese and African people.
