Passers-by save girl from drowning in Yunnan

An 8-year-old girl who accidentally fell into a river was saved by passers-by recently in Kunming, Southwest China’s Yunnan province.
The accident happened when the girl played with three other children. To save her, many passers-by joined in the rescue effort.

Ge Cheng jumped into the river and helped bring the girl ashore. Others performed CPR. A woman even brought an oxygen cylinder from a nearby pharmacy.
The girl was eventually saved thanks to the timely rescue efforts.
