National open class commences in Xi’an

A national open class launched by Guanghua School of Management of Peking University and GIO Huaxing Holdings Group officially commenced on Saturday afternoon in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, aiming to share recent economic analyses and leading-edge educational concepts.
Some 400 people in the city were attracted to the class by lectures from professors Chen Yuyu and Zhao Longkai from Guanghua School of Management.

Chen, professor from the Department of Applied Economics in the Guanghua School of Management and director of the Institute of economic policy in Peking University, spoke about the trade war between China and the United States, saying that the two sides need more wisdom, ideas and long-term vision to deal with the problems and create a better trade relationship in the future.

Professor Zhao, deputy dean of Guanghua School of Management, executive director of the MBA&MSEM project and director of the Guanghua Art and Management Research Center, mentioned that finance can shape different relationships among people; it is also the only relationship in the world that can deal with the present and the future.
Zhao also shared some leading-edge educational concepts of Guanghua Managment School, saying that Guanghua School of Management always stands in the tide of reform and opening up, and always takes into account policy researches and frontier business practice researches.
Every year, Guanghua School of Management would select 10 cities over the country to hold the open class, aiming to share the original management knowledge and the business philosophy, interpret the changing business environment from the academic point of view, and analyze the development direction of the social economy on a professional level.
