Chinese president appoints 4 new ambassadors

BEIJING - Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed four new ambassadors in accordance with a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature Thursday.
Sun Baohong was appointed China's ambassador to Kenya, replacing Liu Xianfa.
Zhu Liying was appointed ambassador to Mali, replacing Lu Huiying.
Huang Zheng was appointed ambassador to Micronesia, replacing Li Jie.
Li Jie was appointed ambassador to Zambia, replacing Yang Youming.
