After the research team's more than 20 years of efforts, the vaccine, which works against up to the H5 subtype of the avian influenza virus, has become the first DNA type of immunization to get the certificate in China.
The vaccine can induce a good humoral immune response and strong cellullar immunologic response, which will lead a development direction for prevention and treatment vaccines for human beings and animals.
