Country marathon held in Sichuan

The 2018 Wusheng Country Marathon was held April 30 in Wusheng county, Southwest China's Sichuan province, under the auspices of the Chinese Athletic Association, Xinhua News Agency and the Wusheng county government.
Starting in the running base of Baiping and Feilong Rural Tourist Resort, some 5,000 runners from different parts of the world -- including Kenya, Ethiopia and Guinea-Bissau -- participated in this event.
Lin Xin, an undergraduate from Xiangtan University in South China's Hunan province, completed the race in 1 hour, 14 minutes, 7 seconds, winning the men's half-marathon.
The second and third place runners, both from Kenya, finished in 1:14:8 and 1:14:10 respectively.
In the women's half-marathon, Bekaye Bisle Guye from Kenya came in first, crossing the finish line with a time of 1:27:23.
