9 dead in N China landslide

TAIYUAN - Nine people have been confirmed dead in a landslide in North China's Shanxi province, local authorities said Monday.
The landslide happened at around 4:57 am Monday in Caijiazhuang village in Lishi district of Lyuliang city, the local publicity department said.
More than 100 people have been dispatched for rescue work, according to the department.
