Yi people mark 60th anniversary of Chuxiong

Yi people celebrated Chuxiong’s 60th anniversary by displaying their traditional dance on April 15.
The dance called Da Tiao, a traditional and popular dance of Yi people, is held to celebrate special occasions.
They gathered around in a circle and danced in front of a bonfire. Chuxiong is one of the two Yi autonomous prefectures in China.
