Italian artists try Chinese painting and calligraphy

On the occasion of a contemporary Italian art exhibition, 25 artists from Italy shared their works and values with Chinese artists in the ancient town of Fenghuang, a region treasured for its ethnic architecture and beautiful scenery.

Visiting Italian artists were also introduced to the art of Chinese painting and calligraphy. Some began creating their own ink wash paintings of Chinese landscapes.
