Earthenware products used to be objects of daily use for every household in Kashgar, and Tursun Zunun’s products are known as the best.

As a sixth-generation inheritor for Kashgar earthenware, Tursun Zunum learnt the craft from his father and grandfather starting at a young age.

Earthenware has been listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage, and his residence has become the best place for tourists to learn about the earthenware of Kashgar.
