People rest in hammocks as they experience The Chronarium Sleep Lab, a public sleep laboratory presented in an audiovisual environment by British group Loop.pH during the Festival of Tech in Singapore on Oct 12, 2015. The installation, inspired by chronobiology or biological rhythms, makes use of sound and artificial lighting to help the brain develop deep relaxation and rest over a 15-minute period. According to the group, the sleep laboratory explores the role of public space and use of technology in helping people cope with insufficient sleep in modern city life. [Photo/VCG]
