Taiwan writer Li Ao dies aged 83

TAIPEI -- Taiwan writer Li Ao died at the age of 83 shortly before 11 am Sunday, according to the Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
Li, who suffered from brain tumor, died peacefully in the hospital, according to a statement.
