Couple with same birthday and hospital of birth get married
Su Jingjie and Guo Yuting got their marriage certificate in Chengdu, Sichuan province last week.
What is unusual about the couple is that they were born in the same hospital on the same date.
Both Su and Guo were born in the Jiangyou Municipal People's Hospital in Sichuan on June 16, 1990, with their beds numbered 11 and 36, respectively.
"I was born several hours earlier," Guo said.
She and Su attended the same kindergarten and the junior high school in Jiangyou. Su attended a senior high school in Mianyang, while Guo remained in Jiangyou for her senior high school studies.
Although Mianyang is 30 km from Jiangyou, the duo never lost contact. In 2008, they sat for the national university entrance examination and both were admitted to universities in Chengdu.
One year after graduation, they fell in love and got married on March 10.
Holding their marriage certificate, they said they were fated to be together.
