Peter Rabbit

More than a century after Peter Rabbit first appeared in a 1902 children's book penned by British author Beatrix Potter, the naughty bunny is now making its debut on China's big screen as a film.

Peter Rabbit, a new live action and computer-generated animated movie produced by Sony Pictures Animation, hit Chinese mainland theaters in the formats of 2-D and Dmax on March 2.

In the 93-minute movie, the rabbit's feud with farmer Mr McGregor reaches new heights as both of them strive for the affections of an animal lover who lives next door.

British television host and actor James Corden is the voice of Peter Rabbit while Australian actress Rose Byrne plays the live-action role of the lead female character Bea.
