Several senior traditional Chinese medicine doctors held free medical consultations for a long line of visitors. The locals showed great interest in this traditional Chinese treasure. Many kinds of soups and teas that help preserve health also were offered at the fair.

A show featuring a lion dance, Peking Opera, martial arts, traditional Chinese instruments and waist drums was staged at the fair, and audiences packed the first and second floors of the venue. The exciting performances drew rounds of applause.

The fair's Chinese culture experience area drew a large crowd that wanted to learn paper-cutting, Chinese knot tying, and Peking Opera mask painting. Local Chinese in traditional costumes enthusiastically introduced the visitors to Chinese culture, wrote Spring Festival couplets and performed tea ceremonies. Visitors also sampled some Chinese delicacies, like dumplings, stuffed buns and spring rolls.
