BEIJING -- A cold front is expected to bring temperature drops to North China, while the south continues to expect rain, the national observatory said Saturday.
The National Meteorological Center expects temperatures to drop by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in parts of North China, including Hebei, Jilin and Inner Mongolia, in the following three days.
The cold wave will bring the temperature down by up to 8 degrees Celsius in some places, the center said.
Another round of rain will hit south China starting Monday, according to the center.
It has warned the public to take precautions for rain and cold weather.
