Late former senior political advisor cremated

BEIJING -- The remains of Luo Haocai, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was cremated Saturday in Beijing.
Luo, a well-known jurist, educator and social activist, died of illness on Feb 12 in Beijing. He was 83.
Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Yu Zhengsheng, Zhang Gaoli, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Zhao Leji, Han Zheng and other senior leaders paid their final respects at the service at Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing.
