US embassy wishes Chinese people a happy Year of the Dog

US Ambassador to China Terry Branstad wished the Chinese people a happy Year of the Dog in a video published by the embassy ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year falling on Friday. Branstad appears with his wife in the video, which has footage of him petting a dog. "Happy Spring Festival," he said in Chinese.
