China condemns gun attack in Pakistan

Beijing on Tuesday condemned extremist and violent actions targeting Chinese after a gun attack in Pakistan killed a Chinese citizen.
China will continue tracking the case and tackle the aftermath, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at a daily press conference in Beijing.
The Chinese Consulate-General in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Monday confirmed a Chinese national was killed in a gun attack in Karachi, Xinhua reported.
The consulate-general said the deceased, accompanied by a Chinese friend, was gunned down in Zamzama area of Karachi, the capital city of the country's south Sindh province.
