The People's Liberation Army of China released the video of the selection and training process of astronauts on Jan 30.
Flying from the sky to space, from an experienced pilot to a qualified astronaut, is a purgatory transformation. What they are going to learn is equivalent to four full years of undergraduate courses, and at the same time they have to undergo arduous training in more than 140 subjects, including physical, psychological, and aerospace technology. For astronauts, each subject challenges their physical and mental abilities.
