Macao holds exhibition on imperial weaponry from Palace Museum

MACAO -- An exhibition featuring imperial weaponry from the Palace Museum was held in the Macao Special Administrative Region on Thursday to showcase the military relics of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911).
The event, lasting until March 11 next year, was held with the theme "the Golden Parade-Imperial Weaponry from the Palace Museum."
It displays over 100 pieces of collections from the Palace Museum, including weaponry, equipment and devices produced by the imperial workshops, as well as tributes in Qing dynasty.
The exhibition includes three parts, namely Dignified Bearing, Military Prowess and Military System. Organizers also holds seminars, workshops, guided tours and music concerts to allow the public to experience the exhibition from various perspective.
The exhibition was jointly held by the Macao Museum of Art, the Palace Museum, the Macao Foundation, the Macao Government Tourism Office and the Macao Daily News.
