Beijing to open more non-stop bus routes

BEIJING -- Beijing Public Transport Corporation will open eight new bus routes on Nov 15, including seven non-stop routes, to offer more convenience to residents.
Seven of the new routes will be direct routes and one will be custom-made bus route connecting the China World Trade Center in Chaoyang district with the Huangcun area in Daxing district.
With the newly added direct routes, commuters will be able to more easily reach subway stations by bus, according to the company.
The company operates the majority of Beijing's public bus service. As of the end of 2016, it operated 29,515 vehicles on 1,020 routes.
