The World Tourism Alliance, an international nonprofit organization set up by the China National Tourism Association, launched its website at wta-web.org on Tuesday.
It has also opened accounts on Sina Weibo and WeChat.
The platforms will feature the latest news and research about the global tourism market, and updates for the alliance and its members, in Chinese and English, with Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish to follow.
Established in September, the World Tourism Alliance aims to deepen tourism cooperation among members and facilitate sustainable development of the industry worldwide.
The alliance has 89 founding members, many of which are tourism associations, enterprises, think tanks and research institutes.
