According to the official website of Wellhope Agri-tech, executives at the company including Jin saw opportunities in Indonesian aquaculture while managers from Sekar Group praised Wellhope Agri-tech's production, management and technological advantages.

Gu Jingqi, China's consul general in Surabaya, also attended the signing ceremony in Surabaya, Indonesia. Gu said that Sino-Indonesia relations are at their historical peak and that it is very appropriate for Wellhope Agri-tech to invest and cooperate in Indonesia.

Gu said China has been Indonesia's largest trade partner for several consecutive years and the two countries' economic and trade contacts have continuously increased.

Indonesia has a territorial area of about 1.9 million square kilometers and a population of more than 248 million people. The prospects of its agriculture are broad and it has advantages in aquatic cultivation resources, according to Wellhope Agritech's official website.

Sekar Group involves several business fields in Indonesia and is widely known for its aquatic products and food production and processing. Sekar Bumi Tbk, the main partner of Wellhope Agri-tech in the signing ceremony, is a noted company for frozen food processing.

Executives at Wellhope Agri-tech said their cooperation with Sekar Group, with support from Indonesia's advantageous aquaculture and Wellhope Agri-tech's strength in technical management, will help the Chinese company to further expand in international markets, increase brand influence overseas and raise revenue.
