Notable: New $2 bond notes which have been added to a new "surrogate" currency, joining the nine already in Zimbabwe's multi-currency basket, amid mixed feelings in the banking public. The notes, which according to the Reserved Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) will trade on par with the US dollar, were released in denominations of $2 and $5, while a $1 bond coin was also introduced to complement the set of bond coins already in circulation.
