National Development and Reform Commission surveys site in Shenyang to push forward the planning and construction of the park.

October 2014: Shenyang government delegation attends seventh China-Germany Economic and Technology Cooperation Forum in Berlin, Germany.

Second session of the China-Germany Urbanization Forum held in Shenyang by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung political foundation. A representative of the park gives the keynote speech.

Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy expresses its will to play a role in the reconstruction of Northeast China's industrial base, during negotiations with China's National Development and Reform Commission.

March 2015: Sino-German Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Park participates in the CeBIT expo in Germany.

Promotion meeting for the park held in Dusseldorf, Germany, by Shenyang municipal government.

Promotion meeting for public-private-partnership development of the park held in Singapore by Shenyang municipal government.

April 2015: Management committee for the park founded in Shenyang.

May 2015: Planning for the park reported to General Office of the State Council.

Eight staff members from five departments of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology survey the park.
