"There are trade frictions and trade disputes, but there are no trade wars."

Pascal Lamy, director-general of the World Trade Organization, saying that while trade friction between China and the United States may grow in the months ahead, there are no chances of a trade war between the two biggest economies in the world.

"A previously reliable stream of foreign direct investment may slow and planned investments may be shifted to other emerging markets if reform continues to stall and costs rise."

Davide Cucino, president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, saying that a slowing economy and rising labor costs are the top risks for European firms operating in China.

"China's rising demand for service imports will help drive the development of the economy in the overseas market and promote the employment rate."

Chen Deming, the minister of commerce, saying that demand for healthcare, financial and travel services will continue to increase in China and generate more business opportunities both at home and abroad.
