November 28, 1960: CPC Central Committee instructs on Gansu report

On November 28, 1960, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) gave important instructions on Gansu Provincial Party Committee's Fourth Report on Carrying out Urgent Intructions of the CPC Central Committee. The latest instructions noted that the Gansu provincial Party committee began self-criticism and showed the determination to correct its previous errors. The instructions quoted Mao Zedong as saying that, "the comrades who have the courage to correct their wrong are still good comrades. I make mistakes too."
