Cultural Products Trade Fair, Yiwu

Yiwu is located in the central part of East China's Zheijiang province. Started in 2004 and upgraded in 2006, China Yiwu Stationery and Arts Trade Fair is the only foreign-oriented exhibition of domestic cultural industry, with "the trading of cultural products and the development of cultural innovation" as its theme. It was honored as the most influential fair in cultural industry in 2008.

exhibition about last year's World Expo in Shanghai in which
different nations
presented their unique cultures in spectacular

Shanghai-Paris Painting Exhibition, Paris

Placed side by side in the cultural landscape of the 20th century, Shanghai and Paris, two cities with many similarities and original, respectively assume the role of spokesman for the Eastern culture and Western culture for the past 100 years. Composed of three parts "From Shanghai", "Plural Charms" and "Force of Globalization", and through 40 works, the exhibition presents mostly pictorial compositions in ink, oil and watercolor.

Exhibition of Miao ethnic group

in Guizhou province, Paris

The Miao is one of the 56 ethnic groups in China. In the 2000 census, there were 8.94 million Miao people in the country, and half of them live in Guizhou province. Miao costume is meaningful and decorative motifs are of great beauty and each creation is unique and of infinite variety. This exhibition shows the different styles of the Miao costumes.

The Unilever Series: Ai Weiwei, London

Ai Weiwei is a Chinese artist, curator, architectural designer, and social commentator. The work being exhibited this time, Sunflower Seeds, is made up of thousands of small works, each apparently identical, but actually unique. However realistic they may seem, these life-sized sunflower seed husks are in fact intricately hand-crafted in porcelain.
