The Chinese car industry is maturing and follows other big manufacturers in their investment on electric mobility. The government supports this move by setting an official goal of 500,000 Chinese plug-in hybrids and electric cars produced by the end of 2011. To facilitate this goal, China launched a nationwide program to install large electric vehicle charging stations. China is on track to lead deployment of this infrastructure in the coming years. This forum will provide a platform to build partnership with Chinese local companies and grasp latest marketing information and technologies.

Conference Series of Cervantes Institute, Beijing

Seminar: What is behind

Exhibition of Miao ethnic group in Guizhou province, Paris

The Miao is one of the 56 ethnic groups in China. In the 2000 census, there were 8.94 million Miao people in the country, and half of them live in Guizhou province. Miao costume is meaningful and decorative motifs are of great beauty and each creation is unique and of infinite variety. This exhibition shows the deep meaning, function and different styles of the Miao costumes and the techniques of embroidery, brocade and batik that help make them.
