China Daily, established on June 1, 1981, is the only national
English-language newspaper in China. Committed to helping the world know more
about China and the country's integration with the international community,
China Daily is regarded as one of the country's most authoritative English media
outlets and an important source of information on Chinese politics, economy,
society and culture.
Headquartered in Beijing, the paper is printed in Beijing, Shanghai,
Guangzhou, Hong Kong, New York and Jakarta. Its circulation is 200,000,
one-third of which is abroad in more than 150 countries and regions. It is often
called the "Voice of China" or "Window to China." China Daily also serves as
important source for high-end Chinese readers who want to know more about the

Star（中文名《上海英文星报》）是九十年代中国大陆出版的第一份综合性地方英文报，于1992年第四季度正式创刊，是《中国日报》报系在上海的主要产品。
《上海英文星报》设有时事焦点、新闻简讯、时尚文化、人物专访、旅游采风、医疗健康、饭店餐饮、娱乐指南、演出预告、体育特写等版面。报道内容包括：社会要闻、经济、金融、科技、商业和文化生活、娱乐、旅游、对外交往活动等。

The Shanghai Star was launched in November 1992 as the city's first
English-language newspaper since the founding of the People's Republic in 1949.
Published every Thursday, the 32-page weekly provides exclusive, in-depth
reports on people and issues in Shanghai and neighboring regions. Currently
published on Thursday, the 32-page tabloid is distributed in China and abroad.
Since its revamp in January 2001, the paper has received more attention from
its readers, many of whom are white-collar workers and expatriates. It has
distinguished itself with its socially conscious, human-interest, informative

China Daily website was launched in December 1995, making it the first major
national daily to go online. In January 2000, the website received the honor of
being listed as one of China's eight top state news sites. By informing foreign
readers of the latest news and backgrounds about China, and Chinese readers of
the world, the website serves a mission of connecting the world.
Consisting of news, information, education and internet-based wireless
services, the website is currently expanding into a varied sphere of business.
In addition to China Daily group newspapers' e-editions, the site, under its
domain, has such sub-sites as English News, BizChina, Living in China, Forum,
Worldreport, Worldnow, English Study, SMS/MMS, Newsphoto and Newscartoon.
Published in both Chinese and English, and subject to 5.2 million pageviews a
day, with more than 60 percent from overseas, the website serves as an online
bridge between China and the rest of the world. Working 24 hours a day, the
website releases over 1,600 pieces of news per day.

China Daily Huadong Edition expands from 16 pages to 20 pages on the base of
China Daily. And China Daily also hired international authoritative organization
to do a thorough survey on the target readers, and thus China Daily would be

中国商业周刊创刊于2001年，是全国唯一一家最具权威的英文的经济周刊。发行量达三万五千份，每周一出版每期十二版。

Founded in 2001, China Business Weekly, with a circulation of about 35,000,
is a 12-page newspaper published every Monday, in broadsheet format, by China
Daily Newspaper Group. China Business Weekly is the most authoritative and only
English economic weekly newspaper in China. It provides extensive and accurate
information for foreigners who have economic ties with China and Chinese
entrepreneurs engaged in foreign trade and economic co-operation. This community
has long found the newspaper a necessity, regarding it as a bridge between
domestic and foreign industrial and commercial circles.
The paper mainly carries exclusive interviews and in-depth reports. The
contents also cover topics that include the status quo of the economic
development in China and the relative policies, the environment and situation of
