Lenovo delivers computers to BOCOG(BOCOG)Updated: 2007-06-13 11:12
Computer giant Lenovo Group delivered the third batch of computers and equipments to the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) on Tuesday. Lenovo, a Worldwide Olympic Partner, has delivered a total of 8,238 computers and related equipments since last September. They will be used in the time and score keeping, competition management, commentator information and many other areas of the technological system for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and their test events to begin in the second half of 2007.
The company will also supply some 150 technology service personnel, some of whom served the Turin Olympic Winter Games. BOCOG Executive Vice-President Yang Shu'an, who attended the delivery ceremony, praised Lenovo for its contribution to the preparatory work of the Beijing Olympic Games, saying its detailed and thoughtful services for the "Good Luck Beijing" test events had laid a solid foundation for the Olympics. |
