LAGOS - Nigeria and Ghana, the two perennial rivals, have been drawn in the same group for the final group phase of the qualifiers for the 2008 Olympic Games.

The Eagles will also face South Africa and Ethiopia in Group A of the qualifiers beginning in June.

Cote d'Ivoire has been handed a tough draw as it plays Mali, Senegal and Zambia in Group B. Cameroon is drawn in Group C, where it faces Morocco, Guinea and Botswana.

The qualifiers will be played in a league format and will end in March next year. The three group winners qualify for the final tournament at the Beijing Games.
