The mascots and posters of the emblem of the Beijing Olympic Games, the Games official magazine, the Olympic-themed postcards as well DVD devoted to publicizing the Games are attracting attention of journalists covering the on-going Doha Asian Games.

"Are you from Beijing?" "Beijing Olympic Games, I know." "Fuwa? I like these lovely mascots." These are among the words the visitors uttered. They took the chance to chat with staff of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and swarmed forward to get the exhibits.

BOCOG's information desk, close to that of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, spotlighted the Doha main press center which is only 10 meters from the center's dinning room.

The BOCOG information desk, opened on December 2, is seen as an effective communication facility to introduce the preparatory work for the 29th Olympiad.
