Ljungqvist, also vice-president of International Association of Athletics
Federations (IAAF) and member of International Olympic Committee (IOC), was
updated on BOCOG's preparatory work in the areas of medical service and doping
control.
He was satisfied with BOCOG's achievements in the fields, especially praising
the medical service team's professionalism and efficient working system. He
underlined the need to attach greater importance to medical service and doping
control to ensure a healthy and clean Olympics in
2008.
